YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

Youth Protection Training is required for all registered BSA volunteers. It must be renewed every 2 years.

 

If you think any of the BSA's Youth Protection policies have been violated, you must notify your local council Scout Executive or his/her designee so appropriate action can be taken for the safety of all Scouts.

 

Who teaches it? Online training through myscouting.org.

Who takes it? All registered BSA volunteers, every 2 years.

What do they learn? Scouting's barriers to abuse, reporting procedures, digital privacy, and social media guidelines.

When does it take place? Anytime, online. Must be renewed every 2 years.
